Gerry Byrne launched Irish Radio in 2011  Gerry enthuses: "Talented Irish singers, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters are admired not only by the native Irish but worldwide. I'm passionate about bringing their music to as wide an audience of the Irish diaspora as possible and, indeed, the many who love Irish culture. There's also a lively mix of news, information and interviews on the station with an Irish angle."
