The Blythe Hill Tavern is a local institution and is considered by some to be the best Irish Bar this side of the Irish Sea.

On arrival, you note the rich and sumptuous traditional pub decor and you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome by the bar staff, all wearing crisp white shirts and ties.

This is a proper pub done properly, with traditional pub decor, and a broad range of drinks on offer (From the traditional Guinness as well as a fine range of lagers, beers ciders, and spirits including some very fine Irish tipples and a huge beer garden.

On a Thursday night, there’s live music. Friday & and Saturday you’ve great food provided by Van Dough.

It has a friendly traditional front bar with a pool table and darts. Its wood-burning stove is always kept burning during the winter months. There is live music 6 days a week. An outdoor smoking area at the front of the pub, a traditional Thai restaurant and a beautiful hidden garden at the back of the pub.
