Clare Smyth

Clare Smyth, MBE, is a Northern Irish chef. She is the Chef Patron of three Michelin-starred Core by Clare Smyth which opened in 2017. Previously she was Chef Patron at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay from 2012 to 2016, won the Chef of the Year award in 2013 and achieved a perfect score in the 2015 edition of the Good Food Guide. Smyth has also appeared on television shows such as Masterchef and Saturday Kitchen.

 

In 2017, Smyth opened her first restaurant, Core, in London. It was awarded three Michelin stars in the 2021 Michelin Guide which made her the first Northern Irish woman to have a restaurant awarded three Michelin stars.


Her second restaurant, Oncore, opened in Sydney in 2021. With Oncore gaining the Three Hats honour in 2022, Smyth became the first-ever female chef and second overall to gain three Michelin Stars and become a Three-Hatted Chef.

Having spent several years in the Netherlands, Richard Corrigan became the head chef of Mulligan's in Mayfair, London. He received his first Michelin star while serving as the head chef at Stephen Bull in Fulham in 1994.

In 1997, he opened Lindsay House in Soho, London, and achieved a Michelin star there. 

In 2005, he purchased Bentley's and carried out renovations. He went on to open Corrigan's Mayfair in 2008, which received accolades such as being awarded London Restaurant of the Year by the Evening Standard in 2008, earning three AA Rosettes,and being named ‘AA London Restaurant of the Year’ in 2009. It also received a high ranking in the National Restaurant Awards.

Richard Corrigan has been crowned the winner of the Great British Menu three times. Additionally, he won the Great British Waste Menu special in 2010, which aired on BBC 1 prime time to an audience of over 7 million viewers and culminated in a dinner at the House of Lords

Anna Haugh
Restaurant: Myrtle

Anna Haugh (born 6 November 1980) is an Irish chef, restaurateur and TV personality.

She started her culinary career in Dublin and later moved to London, working with top chefs like Derry Clarke, Philip Howard, Shane Osborn, Gordon Ramsay, and Gualtiero Marchesi.

She founded Myrtle Restaurant in London in May 2019, named after Irish Michelin star-winning chef Myrtle Allen. Haugh made her television debut in BBC's The Stress Test (2004) and has since made numerous TV appearances, including Hell's Kitchen, Ready Steady Cook, Royal Recipes, Masterchef, Sunday Brunch, Tastemade, Snackmasters, Saturday Kitchen, Morning Live, and Celebrity Masterchef. She replaced Monica Galetti as a judge on Masterchef: The Professionals for the fifteenth series and co-hosted Grilled, a podcast by The Staff Canteen in 2023.
In the podcast, she credited Galetti as her favourite TV chef judge for her authenticity and pioneering role for women in the industry.

​Haugh won the Best International Chef award at the 2019 FOOD AND WINE Awards, and her restaurant, Myrtle, was awarded 3 AA Rosettes in 2021.
